Pastor Appreciation Cards
{ October 6th, 2011 }
This Sunday, October 9, is Pastor Appreciation Sunday. Make an extra effort to show that you appreciate their time, energy and commitment. Think about how you can encourage the kids in your church can thank their pastor. One idea is to use this week’s Freebie Friday. It is a thank you card designed with a pastor in mind. Preprinted with 1 Thessalonians 1:3, this card thanks the pastors for their hard work and gives space for children to add their own special thank you message.
Pastors will love reading the children’s notes! For children that are too young to write, just ask them what they love about their church and pastor and ask a volunteer to write down the answers for the child.

If you don’t have time for this activity or just can’t get the card printed in time, ask children to make time to go up to their pastor and say thank you this Sunday and as much as they can.
